Coaching and Ride Days

North Coast KTM has access to several riding locations including Coffs Harbour, Kyogle and Coraki. We can take care of all your coaching needs including Kick Start and the required 5 hours for the Junior Coaching Program.

Justin and Chris Carter run our coaching clinics and are Certified Coaches with Motorcycling NSW. With experience in racing and riding spanning almost 20 years combined with post graduate qualifications in education and working as professional educators at leading institutes in Brisbane. Our coaching provides on opportunity for riders to develop new skills that will provide them with a safer and more enjoyable experience of their motorcycle.

Junior Coaching Program (Some important information about Junior Licence)

From July 1 2007, all Juniors 4-U16 years must complete 5 hours of coaching each year until they reach the

age of 16. The 5 hours of coaching will have to be documented in the Junior Coaching Program logbook

Current MA licence holders aged 4-U16 years (obtained before 1st July 2006) will need to prove they have undertaken five hours of coaching to renew their competition licence after 1st January 2007. This means that any junior licence that expires on or after 1st January 2007 will require five hours coaching for it to be renewed.
